Deposit, damage & fees
A clear deposit, a precise inspection, no ambiguity.
Every Power Drone rental includes a deposit adapted to the rented equipment. The kit is photographed before departure, checked on return and the deposit is released when the equipment is complete, functional and compliant.
Mandatory deposit
Amount adapted to the drone, accessories, value and customer validation level.
Photos before departure
The kit is documented before handover or dispatch.
Return inspection
Drone, batteries, accessories and case are checked.
Real responsibility
The deposit does not limit the customer’s liability.
Why a deposit is required
Drones, batteries, controllers, payloads and accessories can represent significant value. The deposit is a partial guarantee during the rental and helps process small fees such as missing accessories, delay, cleaning, battery issues or damage.
Before departure
The equipment is prepared, checked and photographed. Included accessories, batteries, cables, chargers and serial numbers are documented.
During the rental
The customer is responsible for the drone, accessories, batteries, case and compliance with the rental terms.
On return
Power Drone inspects the equipment. If everything is compliant, the deposit is released. If there is an issue, fees may apply.
The deposit is not a liability cap
The deposit is a partial guarantee. It does not mean the customer cannot be charged above that amount. In case of loss, theft, crash, fly-away or major damage, the real repair or replacement cost may be due.
Indicative fee grid
Common fees in case of a non-compliant return. If the real cost of replacement, repair or handling is higher, the real cost may be charged.
How the deposit is released
Release depends on the complete and compliant return of the equipment.
Opening and photos
The case or parcel is opened and photographed to document return condition.
Content check
Drone, batteries, controller, chargers, cables, accessories and options are compared with the departure checklist.
Validation or fee file
If everything is compliant, the deposit is released. In case of anomaly, Power Drone may apply the corresponding fee.
Before return
A few simple checks avoid most fees and speed up deposit release.
- Place the drone in the planned case.
- Return every rented battery and accessory.
- Add controller, charger, cables and options.
- Disconnect any personal account when applicable.
- Follow battery charge or transport instructions.
- Report any crash, impact, damage or anomaly immediately.
- Use only the provided return label when the rental has been shipped.
Frequently asked questions
Deposit, fees and responsibility.
Is the deposit mandatory?
Yes. A deposit is required for every rental. Its amount depends on the drone, accessories, equipment value and customer validation level.
When is the deposit released?
After return, opening, inspection and validation of the drone, batteries and accessories.
Does the deposit limit my responsibility?
No. If the real cost of damage, loss or replacement exceeds the deposit, the customer remains responsible for the additional amount.
What happens if an accessory is missing?
Missing accessories may be deducted from the deposit or charged at real replacement cost, with handling fees if required.
What happens in case of crash?
The customer must inform Power Drone immediately. Repair or replacement fees are assessed according to the damage found.
What if I return the drone late?
