Terms of service
General rental terms and conditions.
These terms govern the rental of drones, accessories, batteries, payloads and related equipment offered by Power Drone Rent, a service operated by POWER LAB SARL from Luxembourg.
Important before any rental
Any booking or rental order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms. Renting equipment never constitutes a flight authorisation. The customer remains responsible for insurance, authorisations, UAS operator registration, training level and all applicable rules in the country of mission.
I. Lessor identification
The Power Drone Rent service is operated by POWER LAB SARL, a Luxembourg limited liability company with share capital of EUR 12,500, registered with RCS Luxembourg under number B200913, VAT LU28020230, registered office at 144 Z.A.E WOLSER A, L-3225 Bettembourg, Luxembourg. Rental contact: rent@power-lab.eu. Website: rent.power-drone.eu.
II. Definitions
Power Drone Rent means the drone equipment rental service operated by POWER LAB SARL. Customer means any individual, company, administration, association or organisation renting equipment. Equipment means any drone, controller, battery, charger, cable, case, camera, payload, accessory, module, tool or related item rented by Power Drone Rent. Rental means temporary provision of equipment against payment without transfer of ownership. Deposit means the financial guarantee requested during the rental period.
III. Scope
These Terms apply to all rentals made through rent.power-drone.eu, by email, quote, professional order or any other channel accepted by Power Drone Rent. Unless expressly agreed in writing, the rental is equipment-only: no pilot, no flight authorisation, no legal advice and no guarantee of mission result are included.
IV. Eligible customers
Power Drone Rent may accept private customers, companies, freelancers, associations, administrations, public bodies and professional organisations. The customer must be at least 18 years old. Power Drone Rent may refuse, suspend or cancel a rental if the customer profile, declared mission, documents, insurance, country of use or information provided creates a risk or inconsistency.
V. Countries served
The service is operated from Luxembourg. Rentals may be offered across Benelux, France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, subject to equipment, transport conditions, verification level and manual approval. Switzerland and sensitive or high-value equipment may require specific validation. Some regions, islands, air-freight destinations or locations not served by our carriers may be excluded.
VI. Account and KYC / KYB verification
A customer account is required, but account creation alone does not give an automatic right to rent. A verified account is required before a rental can be finalised. Private customers may be asked to complete KYC. Professional customers may be asked to complete KYB and provide business, representative, beneficial-owner, pilot, insurance and mission information. Additional documents may be requested by email, form or external verification provider.
VII. Mandatory insurance
Valid drone insurance is mandatory for every rental. It must cover the actual user or organisation, the rental period, the relevant country or countries of use, the declared purpose and civil liability linked to drone operations. Insurance does not replace the deposit and does not limit the customer’s responsibility towards Power Drone Rent.
VIII. Drone regulations and flight authorisations
Power Drone Rent rents equipment only. The customer remains solely responsible for UAS operator registration, pilot certificates, geozones, local restrictions, permits, privacy obligations, insurance and all rules applicable in the country of mission. Renting equipment never constitutes a flight authorisation.
IX. Reservation and contract
A rental is confirmed only after payment, account validation, document validation where required, acceptance of these Terms and, where applicable, deposit validation. Power Drone Rent may cancel or refuse a rental if validation is incomplete or if the declared mission is incompatible with the equipment or risk profile.
X. Rental periods
Standard rental periods may include 1 day, 3 days, weekend, week and long-term rental on request. The period includes the reserved use window and may include logistics constraints. The customer must return the equipment by the agreed deadline.
XI. Prices, VAT and payment
Prices may be shown excluding VAT for professional customers. Applicable VAT is calculated at checkout according to the customer profile and destination. Delivery, return, deposit, special handling, accessories or professional validation may be shown or charged separately. Bank transfer orders are confirmed only after payment receipt and full file validation.
XII. Deposit
A deposit is required for each rental. Its amount depends on the equipment, accessories, value, duration, customer profile and validation level. The deposit is a partial guarantee and not a limit of liability. If damage, loss, theft, crash, fly-away or incomplete return exceeds the deposit, the customer remains responsible for the additional amount.
XIII. Delivery and return
Pickup in Luxembourg and round-trip delivery may be offered depending on equipment, duration, customer validation and destination across Benelux, France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. When the rental is shipped, Power Drone Rent normally provides the return method and label. The customer must use the planned return method unless otherwise agreed in writing.
XIV. Equipment condition before departure
Before handover or dispatch, Power Drone Rent prepares and documents the equipment. This may include condition photos, serial numbers, batteries, chargers, cables, case, payloads, accessories and checklists. These records are evidence of the condition at departure.
XV. Receipt by the customer
The customer must check the equipment immediately upon receipt. Any missing item, damage, transport issue or anomaly must be reported to Power Drone Rent before use, with photos where relevant. If no issue is reported promptly, the equipment is presumed received in compliant condition, subject to mandatory legal rights.
XVI. Use of equipment
The customer must use the equipment carefully, in accordance with manufacturer instructions, applicable laws, insurance conditions and the declared purpose. The customer must not modify, open, repair, misuse or expose the equipment to abnormal risk.
XVII. Prohibited uses
Use is prohibited for illegal activity, unsafe flight, unapproved flight over people, unauthorised restricted zones, military or law-enforcement use without approval, dangerous goods, intentional damage, resale, sub-rental, unauthorised transfer, or any use contrary to law, insurance, manufacturer instructions or these Terms.
XVIII. Return of equipment
The customer must return all equipment, accessories, batteries, chargers, cables, cards, payloads, modules and case complete and on time. Personal accounts must be disconnected where applicable. Battery return instructions must be followed. Missing or late items may delay deposit release or be charged.
XIX. Return inspection
After return, Power Drone Rent inspects the equipment. The inspection may include opening photos, visual and functional checks, serial number checks, battery checks, connected-account checks and accessory comparison with the departure checklist. If everything is compliant, the deposit is released. If an anomaly is found, fees may be deducted or invoiced.
XX. Fees, damage and non-compliant returns
Fees may apply for non-compliant battery return, personal account not disconnected, cleaning, missing small accessories, missing charger/controller/battery/module, late return, damaged battery, damaged gimbal/camera/sensor/structure, crash, loss, theft or fly-away. Real repair or replacement cost may be charged, plus handling or diagnostic fees where applicable. Repairs are handled by DJI, an approved repairer or a provider selected by Power Drone Rent.
XXI. Cancellation, postponement and non-use
Unless otherwise agreed: cancellation more than 7 days before departure may be refunded except potential fees; cancellation between 3 and 7 days before departure may leave 50% of the rental amount due; cancellation less than 72 hours before departure, after dispatch or after advanced preparation may be non-refundable. Weather, missing authorisation, geozone restrictions or customer project changes do not automatically cancel the rental fee.
XXII. Consumer withdrawal right
For consumer customers, distance-contract withdrawal rules apply within the limits of Luxembourg and European law. Where the customer requests a dated rental, early performance, preparation, dispatch or immobilisation of equipment before the end of the withdrawal period, the customer may be asked to expressly acknowledge the potential limitation or loss of withdrawal rights. Professional customers have no withdrawal right unless expressly agreed in writing.
XXIII. Fault not attributable to the customer
If equipment fails during the rental for reasons not attributable to the customer, the customer must notify Power Drone Rent immediately. Depending on the situation, Power Drone Rent may propose replacement if available, partial refund, credit, commercial gesture or alternative solution. Liability cannot exceed the rental amount concerned, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
XXIV. Power Drone Rent liability
Power Drone Rent is responsible for providing the rented equipment under the agreed conditions. It does not guarantee mission success, authorisations, weather, absence of restrictions, image quality in field conditions, compatibility with every environment, absence of pilot error, data loss, network issues, smartphone/tablet/app issues or customer-account issues.
XXV. Customer liability
The customer is responsible for the equipment from handover or receipt until complete compliant return. This includes equipment, accessories, batteries, damage, third-party damage, insurance, authorisations, pilots, applicable rules, complete return and all repair or replacement costs exceeding the deposit.
XXVI. Personal data
POWER LAB SARL may process personal data necessary for account creation, verification, order management, rental management, invoicing, delivery, return, deposit management, proof of equipment condition, dispute handling, fraud prevention and legal compliance. Sensitive KYC / KYB verification data may be processed by a specialised provider. Requests relating to personal data may be sent to rent@power-lab.eu or by post to POWER LAB SARL, 144 Z.A.E WOLSER A, L-3225 Bettembourg, Luxembourg.
XXVII. Intellectual property
All website elements, texts, visuals, photos, logos, graphics, videos, interfaces, documents, guides, trademarks and technical elements are protected. Rental does not grant any intellectual property rights over brands, software, firmware, applications or technical elements integrated into the equipment.
XXVIII. Force majeure
Power Drone Rent is not liable for non-performance or delay caused by force majeure or events outside its control, including natural disaster, severe weather, fire, flood, war, civil disturbance, strike, carrier blockage, network failure, cyberattack, administrative decision, regulatory ban, supply disruption or exceptional equipment unavailability.
XXIX. Complaints and disputes
Any complaint must be sent in writing to rent@power-lab.eu with the customer identity, order number, equipment concerned, facts, useful photos or evidence and the request made. Power Drone Rent will handle the complaint within a reasonable time.
XXX. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Luxembourg law. For professional customers, disputes relating to interpretation, performance, validity or termination fall within the jurisdiction of the competent Luxembourg courts. For consumer customers, mandatory consumer protection rules applicable in their country of residence remain applicable where they cannot be contractually excluded.
XXXI. Acceptance
By creating an account, confirming a booking, paying a rental, accepting a quote, signing a receipt report or using the equipment, the customer confirms having read, understood and accepted these rental Terms. The customer acknowledges that rental is not a flight authorisation, that insurance and authorisations remain the customer’s responsibility, that equipment must be returned complete and compliant, and that the deposit does not limit liability.
